Road Safety Badge
Qualifying Requirements: It may be awarded to any Secondary 1 cadets who has attended the Road Safety and has passed the written test
SPF-NPCC Proficiency Badge
Qualifying Requirements:
1. At least a rank of Staff Sergeant
2. Contribute to the progress and development of the school unit based on the following factors:
-Compulsory Participation in the following activities:
-Sec 1 Camp
-Sec 2 Adventure Training Camp
-Sec 3 Survival Training Camp
-Revolving Shooting in Sec 2 and 3
-Have organised a project/programme/activity at Unit/Area/HQ level
-Have participated in at least one competition/ Any one of the major NPCC events
Best Unit Cadet (BUC) Proficiency Badge
- OsC Units to submit nomination(s) to NPCC HQ by 31st March
Qualifying Requirements: No test is conducted with this test.

-Have been in NPCC for at least 2 years

iii. Possession of at least 3 NPCC Proficiency Badge
iv. Regular attendance at trainings, camps and parades
v. Smartness in bearing and turnout
- Contributed to the progress and development of the school unit:
i. Ability to assist the other officers
ii. Participation in competition or attendance of courses organised by unit or NPCC HQ
iii. Participation in any of the major parades organised by the Unit, Area, Zone or NPCC HQ
- Have good leadership qualities as follows:
i. Ability to motivate and enthuse others
ii. Sense of responsibility
iii. Dedication to the crops and interest in its activities
iv. Initiative
v. Sound Knowledge of NPCC Training
vi. Proficiency in Crampcraft, Drill and Weapon Training
vii. Ability to carry out instructions
viii. Ability to work in harmony with others

Qualifying requirements::Undergone entire P.K Course and passed the written test.

Life Saving Badge
Qualifying Requirements:
1. Any cadet above 14 of age who has passed the Life-Saving Course conducted by NPCC HQ and passed Life-Saving Test (Bronze Medal) conducted by Royal Life Saving Society of Singapore. (RLSSS)
OR
2. Attended similar Life-Saving Courses on its own, successfully attained Life-Saving 1, 2, 3 certificates and CPR 1, 2 Certificates from RLSSS.
Crime Prevention Badge
Qualifying Requirements: Any cadet of at least Sec 1 who had attended the Crime Prevention Course and had passed the written test organised by the National Crime Prevention Council at Unit Level.
SANA (Anti-Narcotic) Badge
Qualifying Requirements: Attended the course and finished the duties of the Transfer Agent
National Heritage Badge
Qualifying Requirements:
1. Written test on knowledge of the role of the National Heritage Board and the distinct functions its various facilities perform.
2. Completed a project (Any of the following below)Designing a Heritage Trail
- Volunteering at the Children’s Discovery Gallery
- Undertaking a Simple Research Project
- Designing an Information Booklet on Monuments in Singapore
- Creating a Multi-Media Programme or CD-Rom on Heritage Matters
- Any other projects approved by the National Heritage Board
- Level of Commitment
- Professionalism of project
- Ability to show that he has learnt and benefited from the project
Community Safety and Security Proficiency (CSSP) Badge
Qualifying Requirements:
1. Satisfactory Attendance Record and Level of Participation during the class
2. Passed SANA and Crime Prevention tests
Homefront Security Badge
Qualifying Requirements:
1. Must have attained the following badges:
i. Total Defence (Bronze)
ii. SANA (Anti-Narcotics)
iii. Crime Prevention
iv. Civil Defence
2. Attended Homefront Security Badge and passed Written Test conducted by Home Team Academy
Police-Youth Ambassador Badge (PYA)
Qualifying Requirements: Satisfactory Attendance Level Records, and Level of Participation during the course and passed the following:
1. To encourage the cadets to look after the community's safety and security matter through mutual support.
2. To actively contribute their ideas, time and energy to build a better community and hence, a better Singapore. This is in line with the vision of active citizenry.
3. To let the cadets have the opportunity to take an active lead in implementing programmes and activities to improve safety and security of their community.
4. Assessment: Implementation of a Police Youth Ambassador Project
